What about latex allergy ?
During my 7 years of experience with liquid latex I haven’t encountered any allergic reactions yet. If you experience an allergic reaction while using a condom or rubber gloves, you better not try a liquid latex dress.
To be on the safe side, I always do a test on a small area of skin on my customers or models.

-
Can other irritations of the skin occur ?
Because a special separating oil is applied to the skin before the liquid latex is applied, mechanical irritations will not occur or are minimal. (It‘s comparable to putting a bandaid on oily skin and pulling it off).
When prepared correctly, the PH value of the liquid latex I use is near normal. Here, the skin is also well protected by the separating oil.

How long does it take to have a such a dress painted onto oneself ?
By using especially prepared latex I‘m able to shorten the time needed to apply the required four to six layers considerably.
The time needed for the latex to dry also depends on:
- the area of the body to be covered
- the complexity of the design
- the quality of the finished piece
A short top can be produced in 20 to 30 minutes (plus preparations taking approx. 15 min.)
- a mini skirt between 60 and 120 minutes
- a long dress between 90 and 180 minutes
- a whole body suit betwee 90 and 240 minutes
For particularly complex designs or if the model does not like to pose for a long time, the dress can be taken off and completed with additional colors afterwards.

-
How long does such a latex dress last ?
If the maintenance instructions are followed, the material will last many years. If there are any material deficiencies or production flaws in any of the pieces I produced, I will repair it free of charge within the first six months.

-
Can the liquid latex be applied to hairy body parts ?
Downy hair is no problem. Hair on the chest, the armpits or similar, must be removed, however. Pubic hair is no problem with the creation of dresses, since the entire abdomen and pelvic area down to the thighs are covered with protective material. For other designs that include the abdomen the pubic hairs must be shaved off before applying liquid latex.

-
Which colors can a latex dress have ?
All possible colors can be mixed. The palette reaches from all colors of the rainbow to fluorescent and glow colors (colors that glow in the dark when exposed to UV light), as well as metallic glitter effects. Gold leaf can also be integrated into the material.

-
Can a specific artwork or pattern be painted onto the dress ?
Most artworks can be transferred to a latex dress. The precision of the depiction depends on the feasibility of the artwork. Details up to approx. 3 mm are possible.

-
Can women with very large breasts wear latex dresses ?
Technically this is not a problem, since I developed a special technique for this:
It’s best for the model to lie on her back while the breasts are being painted. Of course this should take place before the back is being painted. The model slightly turns until one of the breasts sits centered on the chest. After applying 3 layers of liquid latex this procedure is repeated with the other breast.
Another method is to put on a bra before applying the liquid latex. Keep in mind that, this way, the bra will always be an integrated part of the dress.

-
I have problems with my figure, can I still wear a latex dress ?
Problems with the figure can be compensated for within reasonable limits. This is done by the way the design is implemented. Supporting and forming corsages can also be integrated into the dress.
Note: During my approx. 20 years of experience in the fashion industry I did’t meet more than a handful of women that were satisfied with their figure. In my opinion this is not so much a matter of the objective appearance, but one of inner attitude and posture.
